Every tour on this site links to a live booking page on a tour platform, and those links carry a commission. Book one and we earn a share; your price stays the same. Beyond tours, the same arrangement covers stays, car hire, airport transfers, luggage storage, eSIM plans, flights, flight compensation claims, and long-distance bus and train tickets booked through a partner. Any link that leads nowhere commercial pays nothing, whether or not it is marked.

What Earns Us Nothing

Plenty of what this guide recommends earns us nothing. Tsarevets Fortress and other heritage sites sell their own entry, so we point you to their official pages rather than a booking widget. The same goes for wandering Samovodska Charshiya, walking the Yantra river bend, or riding a BDZ train to Ruse: the advice stands on its own, with no link attached and no payment coming back to us. These sit beside the commission-bearing tours, never behind them.

What The Commission Never Changes

No operator pays to appear here, and no listing buys a ranking. Which tours make a page, and in what order, is an editorial call. Practical facts come from official municipal and tourism pages, operator and rail sources, and the euro has been Bulgaria's currency since 1 January 2026, so that is the money this site talks in.
